This year Salix have developed a new fund in partnership with the Education Funding Agency (EFA) that focuses specifically on energy efficiency projects. The Education Funding Agency Condition Improvement Fund portal is now open for academies, free schools academy special schools and 6th form colleges to apply for between £20,000 and £4million per project for essential works to school buildings and premises. Higher priorities include Safeguarding, Security, Health & Safety (Emergency Asbestos removal, Gas, Electrical, Legionella & Fire) Roofing, Weather Tightness, Heating & Water supply systems.
