CONDITION IMPROVEMENT FUND – Please see our new website at http://www.ics-funding.co.uk/cif-condition-improvement-fund/
In partnership with our expert Chartered Surveyor Partners we offer a ‘No Win No Fee’ Condition Survey and Bid Writing service for Academies, Free Schools and Academy Special Schools to help access the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) grants.
CIF funding is currently only available to the above schools and to ‘converting’ Academies, that have officially signed the formal academy order agreement prior to the fund opening. Last year this date was September 1st.
Large Multi Academy Trusts (MATs) with 3,000 pupils or more receive their own capital funding allocations, so are ineligible to apply.
CIF funding is available for essential capital works to school buildings. Examples include Security, Safeguarding, Safety Compliance, Roofing, Asbestos problems, Kitchens, Replacement Windows & Doors. It also covers key essential equipment such as Boilers, Mechanical and Electrical systems.
Our ‘No Win No Fee’ Services for the agreed project includes:
• Building Condition Survey
• Needs Evaluation Study
• Energy Efficiency Survey (where applicable for the grant application)
• CIF Application Bid Writing Service
Other essential Technical Surveys can be provided at a mutually agreed cost.
LIMITED APPLICATION TIMESCALE
The 2017-2018 Annual CIF funding round is now closed but the next round will open in Autumn 2017, so act now without delay.
It is critical therefore that all preliminary surveys, permissions and supporting evidence needs to be carried out and compiled well in advance of this short window of opportunity. Please click on the button below to view the latest CIF Funding Priorities.
